Rare Character is holding the Black Maple Hill Release Party on Friday, March 27 at Jack Rose Dining Saloon

Rare Character has officially acquired this storied brand, and Pablo Moix will be leading an exclusive tasting of the new Black Maple Hill lineup. He will also be sharing the vision behind its return to exceptionally well-aged, carefully selected barrels that honor the legacy of the Lawrenceburg and Bardstown years.

Black Maple Hill was a brand started by an NDP around 2000. In the early years it became a coveted brand as rumors were it was originally using sourced Stitzel-Weller. Over the years that followed their desirable sourced barrels dried up and they ended up bottling NAS lower quality bourbon. This ended up taking the brand from top shelf to bottom shelf. If anyone can take a legacy label and return it to its glory days, Pablo Moix can. This will be an interesting brand to watch!
